There were no TV’s in school at the time, so when I heard that JFK was killed on the news, I called into the Principal’s office. It was about 2pm EST. Well, I was known as a practical joker and I found out the next day when I attended school that no one believed me, not even the Principal or any of the teachers. Of course, they found out when they went home the evening of Nov. 22.
