One of my passions is statistics. I just love them so much, I could play with them for hours and hours. So it was right up my alley when I discovered that Alexa, the Internet traffic rank site, had a lot of statistics on the Vandal Blog. Yes, I hear you saying that I should get a life and an XBox and get out more, but graphs and decimal points can really be fun.

So let’s get started on some interesting analysis of Alexa’s beautiful graphs and decimal points. Starting with Graph 1, it is immediately clear that not enough people are reading the Vandal Blog at work. This is a disappointing really, as I would really like to have a negative effect on productivity and gross domestic product of exploitive governments and employers. Secondly, my argument that only women read is proven by the under-representation of male readers of the Vandal Blog.

The Vandal blog Graph 2 is very interesting. Note that some of the most common search terms that bring visitors to the Vandal Blog are; fatal germs, so soon forgotten, Paris sucks, Arabs honk when they drive and twitter bots are good. But my favourite had to be; I just adore the double dip of D’s.

The Vandal blogLastly in Graph 3, there is irrefutable proof that I am indeed foreign. It is so comforting to know that the Vandal Blog is considered in the same exotic categories as Lietuvių, Suomi, Tietotekniikka, Компьютеры and Dienoraščiai. But the most rewarding fact is to know that the Vandal Blog is considered to be the same category as 计算机 > 互联网络 > 网络资源 > 博客 > 托管商.

The Vandal blogAnd I suppose you thought statistics were boring.

Interesting facts you have dug from your stats. I work with numbers and I know how fun it is when you obtain information from a data set.

That’s fascinating – I love stats too. I also love the weird search terms that send people to our sites…some of the ones you’ve got there are fantastic!
