iPad scalesOne thing I have now taken for granted, is that my iPad can do whatever I want, whenever I want and wherever I want. All I have to do is go to the App Store and do a quick search, and bingo! Yes, someone had the idea before me and wrote an app. Every room of my house now has ‘room specific’ apps.

In the bedroom it is of naturally a bedside clock, alarm, replacement book and of course supplier of music to snooze by on my long journey from asleep to awake in the late morning hours. The kitchen uses fro an iPad are almost limitless, but at present I’m more than happy with my recipe apps, timer apps and weight converters.

The living room is where the iPad really gets into gear. I mean, if it’s video, audio, images, data, internet or news, there are thousands of apps for that. Using my iPad to control my vast music library via AirPlay is a killer idea. I love it when I don’t have to move a muscle for things to really start happening. Television? What’s that? Who needs one when you have an iPad.

Moving along with my iPad tour of the house, the smallest room of the house has an app as well. It’s called iBooks, and you can read to your heart’s content while you complete your necessities. Take it to the bathroom and use is as a, you guessed it, a mirror. There’s an app for that.

Then I had a stroke of genius. Bathroom scales!! The iPad is just the perfect size and shape, isn’t it?

So off I went to the App Store. And guess what? There’s no app for that. Damn.

Any developers interested in a killer iPad app idea?
