How To Rank Quickly On Google SearchRank Quickly On Google Search

Rank Quickly On Google Search

Here’s a little tip on how to get your blog post indexed very quickly on Google Search, and very often, on the first search page for your keyword. Plus, it’s attention grabbing

The image on this post is of my Search listing just now, only six hours after posting an article about self-publishing.

So what’s the secret? It is to use Google+. All you need to do is share your post on your Google+ account, but with one little extra.

Create a headline for your share, by putting a star symbol either side of your headline, and then add your text. My headline looked like this when I posted to Google+.

*Self-publishing is here to stay, as there is no way of putting the genie back in the jar.*

Now even though it was more than 60 characters, which is all that Google will use in a Search listing, it still listed in second place to Lulu and before Wikipedia.

So, do you have a Google+ account? If so, are you using it to your advantage? And if not, get one, and get better Search results.

Too easy, huh?

Of course if your blog is hosted on Blogspot, it will be available on Google as soon as you post. One advantage of blogging there.

Doesn’t make too much a difference in my opinion. I blog at Blogger and WordPress and WordPress creates a community much faster and gives me more views than Blogger does. Plus I think Blogger does not post it to Google+ if you schedule your posts. Only if you write and then press the publish button. So you still have to advertise for your post :-).
