HAL by Derek HainesMy habitually horrid habit continues unfortunately. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to avoid adorable alliterations. It all started with mild mannered Milo Moon of course, and I blame him entirely for my current irresponsible idiosyncrasy. Then of course I ventured into the unbelievably unknown universe of February The Fifth and all his friends with their nifty novel names.

One would have thought that I would have worn out my threadbare Thesaurus therefore threatening a return to an unalliterated stylish standard soon. Alas, my nearly new nomenclatural nemesis nibbled nastily nevertheless and notched up another dastardly duplicate of diction, delivery and diphthongs.

Hence having hoped wholeheartedly for higher happenings, Halbert Horatio Hoop, hitherto heralded as HAL, will hit the headlines hopefully.

HAL is a notable new novel for lovers of farce, fiction, fable, fun and hapless hippie heroics.

Hello Derek – Thank you for choosing my Powell River Books blog to follow. It's an honour to have an author reading my posts and hopefully giving me some feedback. If you ever have a question, please leave a comment or use the e-mail link. – Margy

Fantastically fabulous fun. I'm sucked into that alliteration vortex quite often myself. My blog title, and trappings within, say it all.
Good for you with HAL. Victory over vice!
(That sounds like a book I'd really like to read. Where might one find it??)
