With my recent posts about the huge increase in the popularity of e-books, it seems as if my next piece of breaking news will only be of interest to the few remaining die hard spine crackers out there.
For absolutely no logical reason whatsoever, I can announce that my latest book, HAL, is now available in the very old fashioned format of paperback. That’s the old manual version of a book where you have to turn pages by using a wet finger and you need to fold over a page corner to remember where you were.
There are one or two advantages though. The cover is pretty and it has a very comforting smell. This aroma actually improves with age and the accumulation of dust. There is also a blank page or two where children can have fun with coloured pencils and add a little memorabilia to the edition. They can also do this on every other page as well.
Anyway, for those very few of you who still want real books and are patient enough to wait a few days for delivery, HAL is now available from Amazon and will be coming soon to other retailers.
ps: When all five copies are sold, I’ll print some more!
